Getting out of bed in the morning?
Studying hard and taking exams?
Going to work back and forth?
Have you ever wondered about every little decision you made whilst living your life? For what reason you are doing all these things? Is it your desire or you are just being a conformist? Matching your attitudes and behaviours to group norms. Nay, of course not. We may understand the reason for everything we did in our life even it is just a glimpse of it. But somehow, when something hit so hard on you and you just cannot take it anymore, it seems pointless to continue with what you are doing.
In employment world, there is saying that, “if you hire people who believe that you believe, they will work for you with blood, sweat and tears.” To keep going with your life, you need to have your own purpose of life. This is the crucial part where the Why concept of Golden Circle by Simon Sinek plays the role. The Why concept that portrays your cause, your belief and your purpose. In everything you do, you had to know first why you did it instead of how you are going to do it or what will you get from it until at certain point, you can accept each single thing that you did although it needs your sacrifices in terms of time, energy and so on.

When most people think, act or communicate they do so from the outside in, from What to Why. The good thing is they go from the tangible to the intangible. We exactly know What we do and How we do it, but we rarely understand Why we do What we do. But not with them that think, act and communicate from the inside out. Everything they did, it starts with Why. Then, the Hows are the actions and Whats are the results from those actions. That is why leaders have their own vision which is the Why. Then, the next level down who are inspired by the leader’s vision know How to bring this vision to life.
So, keep finding your Why until you found it. Then, you will know how amazing it is having your own vision of life.
